Triplet

A triplet squeezes three notes into the space normally taken by two, creating a flowing, rolling rhythm. You'll see them marked with a small '3' above the group. The trick is to feel the triplet as one smooth gesture rather than three separate notes — say 'pine-apple' or 'beau-ti-ful' to yourself to internalise the even three-note feel.
