Slur

A slur is a curved line connecting two or more different notes, telling you to play them smoothly and connected — legato. Lift gently at the end of a slur to create a subtle breath before the next phrase begins. Think of a slur as a musical sentence; the notes within it should flow together as one continuous thought.
